Grounded Yacht Gets Assistance

Cowes lifeboat was launched Saturday Evening (1st September) to go to the aid of a yacht that had alerted Solent Coastguards it had gone aground. The 35 foot Pure Magic, with two couples on board, had come to grief on Gurnard Ledge in a Force 4 south-westerly, while on passage from Hamble to Beaulieu.
