THE FIRST quadrathlon to take place on the Isle of Wight went off without a hitch in the West Wight on Sunday, as competitors swam, cycled and kayaked before running across the finish line. The severe weather held off just long enough to allow the inclusion of the third leg – a kayak in the solent.
